stud walls

always had solid walls,but a bungalow i am looking at has stud walls. done a google but is full of stud finders not sure what studs are either.

any pros / cons re stud walls or any advice i need to know please.

no alterations planned other than re painting walls.

I was a Joiner all my life and they was called Stud Walls to me. There again I did not go to Grammar School

PS they did start life out as Timer Plasterboard Walls, but can be anything now days as You can just buy Partition Panels then just Cut and Fix, Can problematic with some the have metal connections to join them
