Good Evening All.

I’ll finish off with a GENUINE UNIDENTIFIED POSTCARD but which is really a TALKING POINT as I don’t think the ship could possibly be identified.

After looking at the photo again I'm becoming more convinced that the ship is awaiting scrapping. There is a metal tread missing off one of the ladders which would have been replaced on a ship in service and am beginning to wonder if part of the superstructure has already been removed.

It may well be awaiting the scrap-yard, but I would guess that the damage was caused by a severe storm, waves would not have hit the lower part of the main wheel due to that part being 'protected' by the iron work. Possibly in a Far East typhoon or similar.
