Perhaps another topic or discussion for the weekend?.

No matter what the problem or issue, would you complain and possibly go further or just "get on with your life" in the hope that the issue might resolve itself?.

I so agree with that point. My plastic recycling did not get collected for several weeks and I complained several times and it turned out that I was the only one in my street bar one other that actually used the rather large plastic boxes to recycle and the contractors just could not be bothered to come down my street.

Someone must have had a ticking off as the next time the box was emptied but they then ran over the box and destroyed it. Not sure what the point was as the council supplied another but there you go.

I'm even more angry now because I've realised it was my fault.

They collect the bins early so I didn't see it this morning before they came but I'm pretty certain that what happened was that I'd left the bin in such a way that the very strong wind last night was able to blow the lid open and then blow the contents out.

I'm assuming it will be a wet May because these are certainly March winds we're having.
