I have a Galaxy Note and I carry it in my shirt pocket, just as did my Galaxy S1, my Dell X51 and my Psion.

I simply find a smartphone screen too small.

The Note is a logical progression from the Psion!

A good number of my shirts (mainly for leisure) haven't got a pocket.

What happens when you bend down?

I don't buy shirts without poackets.

I don't bend down too much these days either! However, I take your point. I normally find a decent cover will provide enough friction to keep it in place.

I did damage my Psion a couple of times back in the 90s, but no problems since.

Over the years there's been quite a lot of blokes that have had their phone slip out when bending over straight into the toilet bowl!

It's interesting. Going by CES, Apple alone of the major smartphone makers is resisting the lure of full HD 5-6in smartphones. But it's not clear who wants to buy them!

I, too, carry mine in my shirt pocket - when it calls home,I reckon it acts kinda like a pacemaker!

No, they're far to big to carry in my pockets.

...which makes them not quite as phab as they make them out to be.
