Don’t forget to write.
Now if only Abu Qatada would accept a 2 week all inclusive holiday to Florida. We, as tax payers, would include his wife and children.
How would you tempt Mr Qatada to take a vacation from all this stress?

For a contested extradition two years is pretty darn quick, Abu Hamza's took 8 years and Babar Ahmed's is still going on after a similar time. In fact it only took five months from his arrest for a judge to order his extradition.
By far the biggest cause of delay in the overwhelming majority of cases is the legal arguments and appeals made by the defendant and sometimes by the state.
Of course it would be financially expedient to make the process quicker but in practice the process simply takes this amount of time due to long waiting lists for the various types of court hearings necessary.
