Captain Scarlett was my favourite his dark persona wonderfully envisioned. The science fiction genre ,with others, was masterfully expressed by himself and my favourite Harryhausen, his imagination is part of our future.

One of Gerry & Syliva's lesser known heroes was 'Father Stanley Unwin'. He worked for B.I.S.H.O.P. - British Intelligence Service Headquarters Operation Priest - from his parish in the English countryside. Father Unwin's assistant, Matthew, posing as a simple gardener,[in fact he was an alert, athletic and intelligent agent], and was in command of a secret device capable of reducing anything to just one third of it's normal size.

Stanley appeared as 'himself' ... Matthew was just a puppet actor and did what he was told.

My favourite was Parker. My eldest lad had all the toys at one time including Tracy island. I wonder where they went to?
