and soon people will start heading off to spend Christmas with friends and relatives. That means it's time for me, on behalf of all of us at PCA, to wish all of you a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
We're approaching the end of our 12th year here, in the forum, and as ever I find myself wondering where all that time went. Without you all we wouldn't be here of course, and we want to thank you, yet again, for your continued help and support. Those of you who consistently offer help and advice in the various forum areas are amazing - you give freely of your time and expertise, and it's a pleasure working with you. Please keep it up - there are thousands of people out there who have reason to be grateful for what you do.
On a personal note I want to thank the small band of people who patrol the forum areas on a daily basis and notify me about spam posts. You have had a busy year, and I'm very grateful for those emails. There isn't time to acknowledge each one, and this is my chance to say a big thank you.
Our discussions in Speakers Corner don't seem to have set the world right yet, but let's keep trying. We have our ups and downs, but that's to be expected. You're a great bunch of people; please keep posting.
With our very best wishes and thanks,
FE and all at PCA

"I know that Politics are not allowed but the FE often turns a blind eye and arguments become very entertaining."
Politics and religion - the two subjects guaranteed to get people stirred up. My blind eye has to be turned at times, or we would end up ignoring some of the big issues in life.
Thank you for your kind wishes, which are wholeheartedly reciprocated.

I don't login as much as I used to. When I do, it is nice to see all the familiar names plus the Camaraderie that makes PCA the great site from old.
I became a member lots of years ago and I reckon most of my computer knowledge came from asking and listening to the PCA members advice and a bit of FE's knowledge too.
I would like to thank all the old boys... All of the Members that have helped me with my problems. Sorry if I didn't acknowledge you but, thanks.
Have a great Christmas and have a really great New Year.

It's good to see a familiar name from way back posting again.
Have a happy Christmas yourself.

I would like to add my thanks to FE and all his staff for the forum and his handling of it. I also thank those who have helped to solve some of the technical issues I have had. The Speakers Forum is entertaining and hopefully will have more entries after the festivities. I wish all forum staff and members a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year.

As others have said before in a far more erudite way than I can manage, thank you and the compliments of the season to one and all.

Now that I have done my Christmas Shoppin' and passed on the 'tidings' to most of my family (not subliminally) that Santa is havin' a bad year at the TOY factory [so they should not expect any presents], may I say...
Have a stupendous Christmas and a 'Top Notch' New Year. Aitchbee.
