Apologies to Quickbeam, but I have now removed the 'Phone calls' option.

I didn't really think that one through properly - it would have been a very one-sided poll if I hadn't done so.

Luckily it only had one vote when I removed it.

Carry on everyone.

And my OS my memory maps for when out and about.

Can I have my vote reallocated to maps?

I went with organiser, my memory is appalling, especially for dates, birthdays and social events planned... I forget the lot, so my phone is my memory for things to do and places to be.

The survey doesn't greatly differentiate between a standard mobile phone and a smartphone. Text messaging is probably a high priority on any mobile but the ability to have e-mail, pim and ease of sync and other feature eg GPS are important in a smartphone. I can live without all of them. Some are more important than others. What about multi-media messaging?

"The survey doesn't greatly differentiate between a standard mobile phone and a smartphone. "

Of course it does.

It only mentions smartphones.

If you don't have one, don't take part.

How easy is that to "differentiate"?
