Looks like Teignmouth, towards the harbour end.

I agree West Country, but somewhere on the north coast.
The scrawl on the back, Tre...... something inclines me towards Cornwall.

Shadows seem to be wrong for Teignmouth or anywhere on the south coast.

When I first saw it I thought Torbay area. Why wont it work has it correct - Teignmouth.
