Very proud of my son. He's one of the lads cheering the D.B. video in an Afghanistan camp. His nanosecond of fame. Thank lady luck he's now back home. Hope it is his last tour.

Thanks lotvic. I can't put a finger on it but the relief that happens once you hear he's flying back is indescribable. You live for six months with this at the back of your mind, trying to forget or push it as far as you can to the back of your mind, if you like, then the lad's back and you feel 'normal' again. I feel very much for the families that have lost loved ones in this long drawn out conflict.
