This was on the SE News yesterday evening.UK news

The finder was seen handing it back to the owner and the card was a Sa...sk

Nice free advert for the makers.

I'm not surprised. There have been several destruction tests on these cards (see youtube) and only a hammer seems to create a problem.

I'm still using a memory stick that has been through a 60C wash cycle, not once, but twice.
