Well after 3/4's of a century Britain has a singles tennis champion,congrats to Murray.

Wonder if Connery and Ferguson's pep talk helped,and a knighthood maybe.!!

The public tend to see Andy while he is "at the office" so to speak but privately he is quite a relaxed and jovial person.

natdoor. I have a feeling you are trying to stir up more of the dour Scots. Better be careful or the first place they will invade after independence, will be Surrey and Oxshott in particular. You will know they are there when you see them all mooning from the local hill.

Murray becomes a Champion at last -yes and he kept me awake listening to him on Radio 5 Live until well gone 2.00am! But fair does, I hope he goes on to win many more of the majors and one day hold a calendar Grand Slam, that would be make him one of the true greats.
