Is 'Hub' the new buzzword? My local shopping centre has now declared the area of sandwich shops and cafes a Food Hub. Lots of other examples, perhaps you have noticed them. Transport hub, anyone?

I heard a lot of 'hub' words this morning on Radio4 during a short discussion about 'London Hub Airports' involving Tim Yeo and a transport planner. Evan Davies was the presenter. 'Hub-capacity' and 'hub-connectivity' also got a mention.

Closer to home there is now a major transport hub beside Hampden Park, Glasgow.
