Gold medal stamps honour Team GB 2012 Olympics winners
I think that that is absolutely the most fantastic gesture of national recognition that we have ever granted to successful Olympic competitors!
What more can one say?

Jade Jones has just told Bill Turnbull that she can't wait to get back to Flint to see her gold postbox!

Alas no gold postbox for us. Stevenson was knocked out in the first round having not competed in first class competition in over a year through injurys.
I don't know that much about taekwondo, but she looked well below par early on. Was there someone else that would have been fitter in this weight has she not been entered?

As a lifelong collector of UK unmounted mint stamps I can see that I will need to up my DD with RM to cover these unexpected extra stamps. I was a tradition for nearly 150 years that only dead people could appear on UK stamps apart from members of the Royal Family but this has stopped in recent years. I am delighted with the stamps as they are all well done and up to the normally very high standard of UK stamps.
I go to a Taekwondo do-jang when in Thailand but only for the fitness regime which is great as I think I'm a little beyond the fighting age.

Lincolnshire boxer Luke Campbell has just had the commentator say that he's only one fight away from a gold postbox. No mention of the medal!
