The UN was mislead about the situation in Iraq. However, that does not prove that Blair was responsible for them being mislead. The "evidence" on WMD was collated by the security services, not invented by him. As far as the ricin trial is concerned, the police obviously provided a strong enough case to persuade the CPS to agree to a trial, unless the accusation is that that they were forced by Blair to act as they did. And this trial took place long after the Iraq war started and lasted for several months. Who knows if there was further evidence which could not be used because of security reasons? On these grounds, I find absolutely no justification for the claim that Blair knowlingly lied. I know that this is not parliament but the case could be put that such a claim infringes forum rules.
