Hi, everyone.
Anyone notice the site down at times during the night. We'll investigate but I was wondering if anyone was shut out between about 10pm and 6am.
Thanks,

I'm on most nights after 10pm and never seem to have any problems

Very slow at the moment though! Getting to the home page I sometimes just get a text layout - no piccies or adverts just a page of links.

I am usually lurking between 11pm/2am plus sometimes a little later, and never had any problems. But I have noticed some 'double-postings' and 'waiting for' occuring again in the day time?.

The site has been running normally for me - no problems at night as far as I'm concerned. My last patrol is usually (but not always) at around 1:00 a.m.

Perhaps too many bats are using the site at night, when they are not out hunting for insects.

I've encountered (often) a huge black PCA advice you can trust, and FORUMS links across about two thirds of the page with all the threads displaying the posters names and little else.Only once has refreshing the page cured this corruption,so I gave up & had an early (morning) night.I also only have this problem with Firefox,as when it kept happening I finally tried another browser(Chrome & IE both still worked) but I'd forgotten they still worked next time & simply gave up & had another early(for me)trip to bed.If it occurs again,I'll screenshot it & post online providing a link to the picture in this thread.

Chegs, I am not sure if its the same thing simonjary is talking about. But I have to agree with you, that there is a 'blanking out' effect at times, especially perhaps on shut-down.
In my case (using Chrome, which I find is the best for this website) the screen changes to either a black, red, orange and white to full blood red or full black/dark blue, then closes down. It as nothing to do with the monitor I use.
Thought that I would mention it, in case others have had similar experiences recently?.
