Another patent 'war' erupts with a possible threat to the X-Box.X-Box banned?.

Now another giant is involved, Google buys Motorola. Whatever happens I suppose it's the customers that eventually pays the cost for these lawsuits.

Patent infringements, and the resulting legal wrangles are nothing new - they've been around for a very long time. What's new is that - with the advent of the internet, and the prominence that technology has in our everyday lives - we all know about these disputes.

It isn't a new thing.

I know it isn't new, and I am also aware that we now know more about the disputes but it does seem that the wrangles over technology patents are currently rather relentless.
