I don't think for one minute that the handshake will go the way of the "kiss of death" during the plague although I have noticed in recent years that it seems to have gone out of fashion somewhat. I have got used to using the buddhist Wai in recent years and even find myself unintentially using it in the UK. No touching needed and it still shows respect etc., but will it catch on?
