Snow snow, here we go.

Just started in Birmingham, however, we are forecast rain for Sunday so it may not last long. According to BBC Weather we are due about 4 inches. If this is all we get this winter then we will have had a lucky escape compared to the last few winters.

Anyone having it bad?

It's started here now, but is not the type of snow we normally get (we don't have the right type of leaves either!). It's very very fine, blowing about a lot and not sticking to anything - almost like there's no free moisture in it. If it stays like this then there will be no issues in the morning.

Down here a few miles north of Plymouth on the lower part of Dartmoor we had just a light dusting of snow which has been washed away by the rain. Princetown on the high moor had enough a day or so back to bring out a few sledders.
