There is nothing wrong with the EU court of human Rights, but as with everything it is being misused. As in this instance

I think that I have to agree with you there.
When I had a problem with our local council, I sighted various paragraphs from one of the official handbooks about 'my' human rights, and the council's obligations, but the council didn't want to know!.
