I know that Apple would like to own the world and every invention or thought in it but I think this is going a bit far http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/steve-jobs/8993700/Apple-threatens-legal-action-over-Steve-Jobs-action-doll.html they for one thing are not even in the doll making business so how can they justify claiming rights on some ones image.
If it was the relatives of Steve Jobs suing for some reason then maybe I could see some merit in it but I just think that Apple are pissed off because they didn't see the opportunity first.

Apple own the image rights to "Steve Jobs" so why would or should they accept someone else making money from it.

"how can they justify claiming rights on some ones image."
They don't really have to justify it. This is all a classic piece of big-business bluster. The Acme computer corp bullies the little Chinese toy maker into submission.
With luck some interesting news will come along soon.
