Anyone know how to fix (toy) helicopters?

Only had it about 10 hours and it worked for 8 hours. When I went back for another "flight" 2 hours later, it just won't fly. Now everything lights up (copter flashing leds and remote control lights) just like it should but no power seems to get to the rotor motor.
Just in case, I put new batteries in the remote to no effect and yes, it's well charged up and been fully discharged since.
Any hints appreciated. Thanks

I think you have said it yourself what the problem is, it is the rotor motor, if it's as new as that it sounds like a trip back to where you got it from for a replacement.
Great fun aren't they? The cats are less than impressed though.

Secret Santa gift. Don't think I'd be able to as, well, it's a secret for a start off and it does look as though it's been bought off the internet as there isn't much in the way of model shops in our area.
I'll get me screwdriver out!

Check that you haven't picked up a load of fluff and hairs when it's been skidding across the carpet, they wrap round the motor shaft and jam it.
