Matthew Kelly on intro to BBC News

BBC News has not changed their intro 'tape' for ages. It has long puzzled me that Matthew Kelly is part of it, in DJ and dickie bow.

Surely, this must have been filmed many years ago?

If its the same Matthew Kelly that I am thinking of, then he was at my local theatre last week, acting as a grumpy old man with his son in a supporting role.
