Theresa May MP. When ever I hear a prime minister say a cabinet minister has his total confidence and support I always feel,oh oh, a resignation is on the way which of course the same prime minister will regretfully accept.

Doesn't matter who supports her.

If the press decide she has to go, she goes. They will just keep on, drip, drip, drip.

That has been demonstrated on several occasions.

Surely your 'unrelated' stories would imply that every MP who got named in the expenses scandal must have, therefore, upset the owner of the Telegraph?

There seems to be a major loophole in immigration procedures if a person wishing to overstay in UK arrives via Eire. If they can enter Eire with, perhaps, a different structure to UK (Euro ,etc), then they can enter the UK direct or via Northern Ireland with little chance of a check by UK Border Force..

Twice,on recent bus tour holidays to Ireland, about six passengers had to get off the bus,and display everything,in their suitcases, to the security Guards at the Ferry port, before making the trip back home to Scotland. The passengers on the bus, also had to be head counted, before given the 'all-clear'.Does this not happen at all UK borders?
