Eat Your Heart Out, Foggy

Earlier today I found myself listening to "The Highland Cradle Song".

I was instantly transported back 60 years and into the cadence of the slow march.

I really must make an effort to meet more people!

morddwyd - I can just picture you with a dummy, and throwing your rattle out of the pram.

When I hear Andy Stewart singing 'Donald, where's your troosers?', I am taken back to 'Hogmanay 1962' and the 'White Heather Club'. I was always impressed by Andy's 'Elvis' impression at the end of the song.

I suspect it must have been a rather large cradle if morddwyd was still sleeping in it a mere 60 years ago!! 'Slow march' was the clue, I think.

Rather a large cradle even to start with - I weighed in at birth at 13 1/2 lbs!
