Many points are justified in your post...But the fact is (I'm trying to think of a sensible comparison)

If you happened to purchase a device or home appliance that looked fantastic, silver, gold whatever. Then plugged into your neatest power point and discovered that it would not work.....You would (justifiably) be a little cheesed off.

I really do not understand the anti Apple way of thinking...Even though I was just as guilty of the same syndrome myself. I'm no Marketing or PR A&R chap. I just know that suck it and see is possibly better than negating all products without at least a little try.

I'm going to close this thread now, but shall leave you with a certain amount of "Food For Thought" So maybe the try before you try is a good starting point.
