Solar panels and storage heaters

I'm hopefully having solar panels fitted shortly. It occurs to me if I put a small storage heater in the conservatory, it would charge during the day and release the heat on a winters evening.
Is this practical?

I haven't made any plans just yet, but a custom built, roof-top, bus, solar-powered, stick-on roof, could be the 'next big thing' - dagbladet... I have got all winter to think about it.

...that also powers other little busses and an integrated bus cleaning system at night. That's gotta be worth squillions.

The future is in Lunar power, once a month you'll easily have enough surplus power to run the fridge light.
