Full live broadcast of "Breakfast" from the Olympic site this morning.
If they're chucking money, facilities, satellite time and air time away like this with a year to go, heaven knows what it will be like when the games actually start!
At least with Sky you can elect not to actually watch the sports channels.

I am thinking beyond the presenters.
The technical problems and production of a live OB at the mercy of the weather requires an entirely different expertise than the frantic and intense "one step from panic" atmosphere of a studio presentation.
I doubt if many of the technical team, even the camera and sound men, work permanently and only for "Breakfast".
I also have no doubt that the whole team had breakfast at my, and your, expense!
"They also seem to have been broadcasting on and off all day"
But only a small percentage has been live, and more usually with a reporter, not with a highly paid anchor.

I hope someone is still 'winding up' that Olympimpic Countdown clock. "Call yourself an Olympic Countdown clock - should be ashamed of yourself!"
