I knew that aleady. But what is the price of beer in Russia? In Scotland (Glasgow) it's about £2.50. If I went into a downtown Moscow pub what would I pay?

The 'measures' don't take effect till 2013 and look pretty tame. The British Government make a lot of money from tax on alcohol. Does Russia have a similar tax regime with regard to booze?
