Ofcom cuts rural broadband prices

No, Ofcom is going to force BT Wholesale to charge the same price for standard "up to 8mbps" connections to ISPs no matter where the exchange is.
There is no guarantee that the ISPs will pass these savings on to customers, and Ofcom does not have the power to force ISPs to drop prices

They used to say Gas Would be cheaper when we got it from North Sea, Look what happened to that, Need I say more

I think this will kick Bt into action to enable exchanges to ADSL2 exchanges but maybe wrong .

I can remember when nuclear power was supposed to mean free, or very cheap, electricity for all!
