sold in Sheffield. This oldest club ground ground is just a quarter of a mile along Sandygate Road from a friend of mine and invites a long standing joke about who they played if they are the first & oldest club.

It is quite sad that such an important document relating to a major sporting tradition is being sold and that,probably,it will end up in foreign hands.Whether the Sotheby's man says the game is global or not is not the point,they are just after a good pay day.
