At last a prime minister who is not afraid to tackle a difficult problem. I thought his speech was quite good and totally reject Cable's prophet of doom reply.

When I read the heading.[ David Cameron and immigration] I thought that he was going to emigrate. I am sure a few million of us would not have minded chipping in for him to go. Is he going to go down in History as the worst Prime minister that we have ever had or will he pull the Rabbit from the hat and end up one of the best. Jury is still out on that one. The old saying fools rush in where Angels fear to tread comes to mind. Not sure why Godfrey Gorden springs to mind as I just thought about him while typing. Godfrey Gordon Gustavus Gore for all you old timers that know what I am talking about. Funny how things come to mind when it is actually nothing to do with the Post.
