please help me with header images

i have 2 images in my header and i need to make them 50% | 50% but its in a table and i just can seem to get them half and half, can someone please help me.

I'm sure there's a way to do this but because I don't know it what I would do in this situation would be to use an image editor to put the two images into one for the banner.

They are half and half, it's just your table is only 93% of the page width. So they are 50% of 93%.

If you pop a boarder around each for testing purposes (keep the originals) you'll see what I mean.
