Rapid Weaver. Editing an existing site.

My brother in the States made a nice job on my site, but it needs a few edits and updating in places.
I have a few small problems however.
1) He lives in America. 2) He is up to his eyes in other projects and I have given up asking him to make changes! 3) He built the site with Rapid Weaver and a Mac machine. First couple of enquiries I've made have thrown up answers like... 'Oh we use PC, we don't have that s'ware...'
Can anyone offer any advice or guidance please? I don't need a new site, but a list of moderate tweaks to keep it fresh and to help optimise on a few areas re SEO.
Many thanks,
Nick
