Preparing an email newsletter- images question?

I am doing an email newsletter, preparing it in Outlook.
In it, I am inserting a few small gif images.
I am not pointing to a place online but rather including them in the email.
I assume, because I am sending the images in the email they will display immediately?

thanks, yes I have consent and sent many times before.
ok, I might go the way I've always done it: as a PDF attachment.

Outlook blocks all images in an html email message by default, and your recipients would have to load the images with a right click option. This can irritate your recipients, and - like fourm member- I recommend using a different approach.
If you want to look professional, send your recipients an email with a link to a web-page.
I assume that all your recipients have given their consent to receiving emails of this kind - you mustn't send to them unless that's the case.
