Forums, how hard can it be?

Got quite a bit of free time at the moment so looking to set up a forum,

Iv got the idea for the content, but how hard can it be to set up??

Im not looking for anything to professional.

DOmain names being sorted as i speak but getting the stuff onto the net is where im kinda stuck, the hosting of it.

Any good places to host for free if possible?
