Sandbox password problem

I have just signed up for PayPal Sandbox in order to test out my website payments system.
I set up 2 test accounts 1 personal and 1 business and I am able to log into both these accounts in the sandbox site using the log in details.
I went to my website to test payment, clicked on the buy now button and was taken to the PayPal payment page. But when I tried to log in using the test account log in details, I was told the password was incorrect.
Any ideas what this could be?
