FTP Using it help.?

HI guys im getting to grips for the first time using FTP & the FTP Client im using is "FTP Surfer" ive created a profile & the connection wizzard keeps panning left & right & nothing seems to happen.? the username & pass ive got are new & they are correct so does anyone have any ideas please.?

so cannot really comment, but you might find Filezilla easier to use (and free).

Hmmm...

I'm close to finishing a website that will be uploaded soon. A l-o-n-g time ago, I used Terrapin (but no longer have it) for a now defunct site. So, I've downloaded Filezilla for when the time comes.
