Hyperlink to launch a programm, is it possible?

Hi I'm trying to set up a site just on my PC to view my photos. I wanted to create an hyperlink from a photo that I could click on a picture and it would open up that directory in adobe bridge.

Does anyone know if this could be possible to launch bridge from a hyperlink.

I wouldnt call it a hyperlink!

I would call it a javascript..


ytou can get these to open disk drives and allsorts
