Setting which frame prints

My website uses framesets. When pages are printed, all of the browsers I've tested the pages in print by default all of the frames as laid out on screen. I want to set the page so that only the main frame prints. Having searched extensively on the internet the only way I can find to do this is to have a print button in the frame but I thnk this looks ugly. Is there a way that I can specify in the code which frame is printed by default when the print command of the browser is executed?
