HyperLink & Status Line HELP

I feel like I'm taking more than I'm giving..... May'be I can give more back later. Right heres my predicament.

On my webpage I have text which when clicked will take you to another location ( A hyperlink ). Is there a simple way of preventing that hyperlink location from displaying in the status bar, ROOT's around his paper work on the desk..... I've found one way, but it has to be included with every single hyperlink & isn't overly effective, I would prefer to just enter some code in the head of the HTM Document which takes care of every single hyperlink.

Regards
Tony
