Hi. I use W8 and Virgin broadband service. In the last days my 2 browsers have been a litle slow and streaming videos too. I have a rented room in a house and I think other people are using my connexion so I want to know about a good program that gives the exact information about other computers connected to my service. Also how to change the password for my Virgin connection. Thanks.

I'm not an expert but I would have thought that if you put your computer to sleep and watch the 'traffic' light on your router then it should go out altogether. If it flashes then someone is using it.

I doubt that are any programs available that will give you that information. Your router on the other hand is the place to look. Login to it and look for a section called something like "DHCP Client List" and it'll show details of all connected devices - here's an example page from a Virgin Super Hub.

If you require instructions then you'll need to post the exact model of your router and hopefully another Virgin user will be able to guide you through the steps involved.
