Problem after crush up on Printer

I had a crush up on my canon MX350 printer and after clearing it I find that the colour printing part is producing a double image and is not registering properly. Does this mean that I will have an expensive repair or can anything simple be done. The printer seems to be working fine in black. If it requires a repair it would be just as well to replace the printer. Any advice would be appreciated. JF

When printers start going wrong, I usually suggest looking for replacements, more than considering repair, due to cost.
