wireless keyboard does not respond to keys after using ccleaner

I cannot find a solution to my problem - please help - I used ccleaner to speed up my winxp desktop - it did not help but the keyboard now requires multistrokes to enter letters or numbers - most frustrating - it may take up to 2-3 minutes to get a single letter to type

it may be that the ccleaner deleated a programme controlling the keyboard
