adsl 2 to adsl

ADSL 2 noise on the line keeps dropping since may it has gone down from 8.5 db to 3.8 and the connection keeps dropping line profile has Benn dropped from 6 mg to 4 mg but still keeps dropping so now I have tried just adsl and the noise has gone up to 10.5 db can any body explain this please ?

Actually, the noise has gone down ;)

The target SNR for ADSL2 is 6.0db so with your SNR of 10.5db the ADSL signal strength is very good so it's unlikely to be the cause of your disconnections.

You've probably tried this already but turning your router off for a while then back on again frequently solves all manner of broadband faults.

It could be your router causing these problems, so as a test, see if you can borrow one to see if it cures your problem.
