How to watch ITV Player through Tv

This has a bearing on my post How to scan and email receipt I have a desk top box /digital tv recorder which I need to return under warranty for repair which means my wife is going to miSs some of the episodes of her favourite soap.She can watch it on ITV Player but is it possible to connect this laptop to the Tv and watch it on there.This laptop is a ASUS K73E and the television is a LG 26LX2R

It looks as the TV has a HDMI input. If the lappy has one too then you just need an HDMI cable to connect both. Set the TV input to PC (usually) and you need to set the laptop for external monitor. Usually a combo of the FN and another top key.

Sorry, the input on the TV should be HDMI 1 or another number if you have more than one HDMI port on the telly.

If this is the laptop, click here, then you shouold have 1 HDMI port on it.
