How do I set default photo viewer??

I am using a windows XP laptop and want to set the windows photo viewer as the default programme to view photos with, it is currently using Paint.net and I have to "open with" on each single photo the windows photoviewer, how can I set it that all of my photos will open by default with the windows photo viewer programme? I cant find how to do this on the little menu window that opens when i just look at a photo? thanks LAPTOPDUNCE
