Norton online back up.

Hi,

I have a Samsung NP350V5C laptop running W7. It came installed with Norton AV which I replaced with Avast. However an icon in the notification area shows Norton online back up still runs. As this is usually on either a 30 or 60 day trial I can only assume that it was given with the laptop as a freebie as I have owned the machine for 6 months. Would there be any reason not to uninstall this?

Any advice appreciated.

Norton removal tool

You will need to download the removal tool from Norton to remove it completely.

If you are quite happy it is gone now there should be a grey tick on the right of your post, If you tick that it will turn green and that will let others know that the post has been resolved.
