SSD upgrade

Morning all i have been thinking of upgrading to windows 8 and thought i would put the OS on an SSD, while looking around on PC World/Currys website on some of the SSD i have looked at it says, SAMSUNG840 MZ-7TD250BW 2.5" SATA III SSD - 250 GB Required configuration Intel Core i7-3770 @3.4GHz, 4GB DDR3 (2GBx2) 1333Mbps; Asus motherboard with Intel 7 Series Z77 Chipset; Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1; IRST 11.2, MS performance guide pre-condition. Is this correct? I have an i3 processor 2120-@ 3.30GHZ and 8 gig of ram on an ASUS P8Z68V mobo intel Z68 chipset, just thought that an SSD would be a straight forward upgrade. Thanks for any toughs on this.

God knows why PC World/Currys has that garbage as it is totally unnecessary. The SSD will be fine,in fact any SSD will be fine.
