RDP connections via Windows XP operating system

Excuse me if I am not using the right terminology in my questions, but.....

Can RDP user #1 who has saved their username and password via “remember my credentials”, or something similar, send the same RDP icon/file to user #2 to access user #1 terminal connection without giving user #2 their username and password?

Other important information: Both PCs are using Windows XP operating system

I don’t have easy access to Windows XP computers, and I vaguely remember that this could be done. If I you have a reference that this could be done, could you direct me to a site or Microsoft document which confirms the above? Thank you.
